For many years, India-Pakistan was in troubled relations. The All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has given a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding the ban on all actors, including Pakistani actors and actresses in India.
The letter from AICWA said, "The display of Indian cinema in the country has been stopped by the Pakistan government. We are also appealing to all the film industry in this country. They should also break all ties with Pakistani actors, actresses, musicians, diplomats. I also request that all business and bilateral relations with Pakistan be severed.
A statement from the AICWA said, "Until the sanctions are imposed by the Indian government, it has been decided to stop working for the entire film industry and cine workers."
Article 4 has been abolished by the Government of India. Jammu, Kashmir has been divided into two union territories. The move by India has prompted the Pakistani government to ban the display of Indian cinema in the country. The AICWA has sent a letter to the Prime Minister urging the Prime Minister to break all bilateral relations with Pakistan, including Pakistani actors, diplomats, in view of the move by the Pakistani government.
